We tend to walk through the shopping district fast. This so called junkspace is volatile, shallow, easy. It doesn't ask us to pay attention, it’s made to guide us thought this space easy and fast, without having to really look at the space. We only see what it wants us to see; the products, clothing, all the things we have to buy. At night we usually don’t look much better, we walk through this space even faster cause there’s nothing to see anymore when the stores are closed, we think.. But if we would pay attention, a whole new scene unfolds. The mannequins start looking like almost real people and together with the reflections in the windows they seem to come alive and interact.
